In July 2020, a gentleman named Peri contacted us on Facebook. He'd heard of the BlindianProject from friends and wanted to share his story about his girlfriend Priya, who was coerced to return to India to support family members who were supposedly ill. Peri knew something was foul from everything that happened before her trip. Despite warning Priya not to go, she believed her family, and Peri hasn't seen her physically since. After speaking with Karma Nirvana, the Forced Marriage Unit, and other organizations, without any luck, Peri hoped our conversation might help provide some closure or help anyone else in a similar situation.
