Daisy Doris May is an award winning drag king, writer, and performer known for bold, character-driven comedy rooted in queerness and identity. Her acclaimed sketch acts - Steve Porters, HÄNS OFF and The Divine Karen Moonstone - have cemented her reputation as a rising comedy talent, with comparisons to the next Catherine Tate. Daisy has worked across theatre, TV, cabaret, and film for over a decade. Her screen credits include Sex Education, Professor T, The Last Kingdom, Genius, and most recently, the Downton Abbey film. She is also the narrator of Channel 4’s First Dates and the voice of KISS FM.​ Her live credits include solo residencies at Soho Theatre, tour support for Hannah Gadsby at the London Palladium, and a long-running spot at The Box with her queer cabaret collective, HÄUS OF DONS. At the Edinburgh Fringe, Daisy performed her solo shows How to Flirt: The TED XXX Talk and How to Mate: The Second TED XXX Talk to sold-out audiences and rave reviews. Originally trained as a dietician in South Africa, she moved to London in 1996 and soon transitioned into image consultancy.
