 Maria Meyers is a dynamic leader and a cornerstone of the Grenadian diaspora in Canada. As the President of the Grenada Day Cultural Association (GDCA) and the Spice Island Association, Maria has dedicated years to fostering unity and celebrating heritage. In this episode, she joins Carlene Humphrey to discuss the evolution of the Grenada Day Festival in Toronto—now in its 18th year—and its recent move to a larger venue at Pioneer Village to accommodate thousands of patrons.
