Don’t call it a comeback, but we’re back with another installment of Super Fantastic Terrific! Just Brad and Russ this time. We discuss the sensational show Alien Earth on Hulu amongst other things. Russ is only about half way done with the show, but Brad provides some valuable insight about this awesome new show. There is some seriously good story telling and special effects in this series.

Brad and Russ discuss the super up-to-date movie, Krull. Krull (1983) is a cult classic sci-fi fantasy film known for its unique blend of sword-and-sorcery and space opera. Central to the story is the mystical weapon, the Glaive—a five-bladed, star-shaped throwing weapon wielded by Prince Colwyn on his quest to rescue Princess Lyssa from the Beast. Though the film wasn’t a box office hit, it gained a loyal following over time. Notably, Krull featured early roles for actors who later became famous, including Liam Neeson and Robbie Coltrane. Despite mixed reviews, its imaginative world, ambitious scope, and iconic weapon have made Krull a beloved entry in 1980s fantasy cinema.

We’re back after a unintended 9-ish month hiatus! Brad and Russ talk about what shows and movies they’ve been watching. Getting back in the podcasting groove.  They also talk about bringing unrealistic expectations when starting a new show, new movie or the latest season of our favorite shows. Here’s the list of shows discussed. The Boys – Brad says “Meh.”, Russ says “Yea.” Doctor Who – Slightly woke, but Russ is still watching. Dark Matter – One of Brad’s favorite SciFi shows this year.
