#065 Your Heart is a Drum | Danny de Wet

Oct 3rd, 2024 3:00 PM

The author of Sex, Drums, and Rock 'n Roll... In Africa! Danny De Wet is full-time drama and one-time drummer for eVoid, Petit Cheval, Electric Petals, and Wonderboom. And he's the author of 'Sex, Drums and Rock 'n Roll... in Africa'. We caught up to chat all about his book, his career, and the one he holds most dear (spoiler alert, it's his son!) This episode is full of great stories of a life lived on the stage and on tour - with a touch of blunt honesty, dash of 'ex-sagittarriun', and a HUGE amount of heart. If you love South African music, and want to reminisce about a time when live music was REALLY well supported, then this episode is for you. And so is Danny's book! It's a great read, and you'll find things to delight, humour and inspire you.
