012 Submission Pressures

One of the good things about my experience at the Faber academy is that we get to turn in submissions from our drafts for agents and publishers to look at. It really pushes me to challenge myself, and see just how much my writing career is progressing. 011 Claiming Myself as a Writer

Since I began to write about the women in WW2, I’ve had this urge to claim myself as a writer on my social media accounts. In today’s episode, I’ll share with you some of the steps I’ve taken to let the world know there’s more to me than just audio and podcasting. Making a decision to achieve your biggest goal in life can only become a reality when you back it up with the right action. 08 Character Invention

As I round up my course at Faber Academy, I’ve noticed just how much growth I’ve experienced on my writing journey. I realised the progress I’ve made in deciding what should go into my book, and the best ways to create my characters in the level of depth that I want for each of them. So in today’s episode, I want to share with you an overview of my writing journey so far, and the new ideas I’ve got while getting to know the characters of my book.What You Will Learn in This Episode:- The excitement I felt behind the concept of creating my draft zero - Why I made the switch from multiple points to a single point of view- The importance of consistency in keeping the story alive - My train of thought when inventing a character in the story- The challenges I faced while trying to avoid creating stereotypes Consistency is one of the important qualities a writer must maintain when creating a book. You need to put in the effort to write as often as possible.
