Throughout the series, our characters compromise their morals and safety to gain control in the kingdom of Haiti. Although the show has multiple protagonists, the driving arc is that of Léonie Bijoux. A newcomer to this world of influence, Léo is unsure how she feels about it. But as Léo's wealth and status grows, she begins to sacrifice her principles in order to obtain a position as the royal clothier—a prestigious title where one faux pas can lead to execution.

Coronation Day

Léonie and her mother Aveline attend the Duke of Milot’s coronation. As they wander the halls of Sans-Souci Palace, Léonie discovers the dark side of nobility.

The Heir Apparent

After a long night of drinking and gambling, Emmanuel manages to tend to his debt collection duties. His latest debtor is none other than Léonie Bijoux.

The Baroness

Léonie interviews for a position at the House of Perdue and meets Antoinette, a haughty baroness who will do anything to protect her family.
