12. The disapperance of Brandon Adams

On October 20th, 2023, a young indigenous man would go missing in a heavily wooded area in western Washington. Friends, family and community members would spend the next few weeks organizing searches for him where his cell phone last pinged before going silent. This is the ongoing missing persons case of Brandon Adams.  If you have any information on the disappearance of Brandon, please contact the Mason County Sheriff's Office at 360-426-4441 or call 911 to report any potential sightings of him. 11. Fanta Xayavong and Manijeh "Mani" Starren

On June 28th, 2023, the remains of a beloved mother, friend and daughter were found locked away in a storage unit in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN. Only days earlier, an eerily similar discovery was made at another storage unit in a separate suburb of St. Paul MN. This is the story of the disappearances and deaths of Fanta Xayavong and Manijeh "Mani" Starren. TRIGGER WARNINGS: intimate partner violence, dehumanizing treatment of a body, death and dismemberment.
