Rich has been coaching offroad skills and clinics for almost 10 years and as a teacher has gained invaluable experience and expertise in the field of offroad riding. In this episode we chat about his 3 pillars to riding and the main mistakes we see riders making when riding and offroad bike. A big takeaway from our discussion was how pro riders differentiate themselves from good riders and their ability to implement focus training. While many of the top riders have trails backgrounds it is noteworthy to discuss how this conditions a rider but on the other side it is becoming obvious that junior riders are training specifically for industries like hard enduro. We end our discussion with a focus on mental strength and how heading into a race is more about mindset. Abestone Hard Enduro Feat. James Moore || EP.60

Organised by rider Michele Bosi, this race gave fans and spectators everything they were looking for, from riverbeds to boulders it was a weekend packed with action. We say Billy dominate by winning all races and showing Mani that there is going to be strong competition for the rest of the season. The Olympics of Off-road Motorcycling, 99 years of ISDE || EP.59

The event as we know it has been running for almost 100 years and is considered the olympics of off-road motorcycling. We do a deep dive into how this events has changed and adapted and discuss which countries have dominated over the decades. This is a very unique and iconic race that pushes riders and their machines to the limit. 6 days of racing, 3-4 member teams and almost 1500km of racing all to put your nation on the podium. The Rise of Asian-Made Motorcycles: Iconic Brands, Hidden Gems, and the Road Ahead || EP.58

It was in the 1960's when Japan started their journey into the off-road market. Over the last 60 years they have produced iconic brands and bikes such as Yamaha and Suzuki and gone on to compete at the highest level against European manufacturers. It’s no secret that over the years there have been more brands producing off-road bikes which brings us to the main point of today’s episode. In the 2010's we saw other asian countries start to reverse engineer bikes and now heading into the mid 2020's we’re seeing some very interesting brands and models appear.
