L has a passion for sexual and reproductive health, consent, pleasure, sexual ethics, harm reduction, and relationship skills.L is motivated to be in this field due to their own experiences of long-term CSA and experiences of abuse in adulthood, including experiencing intimate partner violence. As a child, she had some knowledge about anatomy and physiology, but almost no context or understanding of healthy relationships and pleasure until later in adolescence. L wanted to understand and improve abuse response and prevention, particularly focusing on child and adolescent mental health, completing this in her undergraduate degree. After learning the incredible impacts of comprehensive relationships and sexuality education, she realized how much violence and abuse can be prevented by providing comprehensive sexuality education for everyone.
