Stalled Out (Director's Cut)

Greg's birthday isn't as cheery as one would hope. That is, until an unexpected phone call from an old flame brightens his mood. Now, if only he could get out of work in time to see her... The Junk Drawer's entry into the 2012 8th Annual Almost Famous Film Festival 48 Hour competition. Written, filmed, and edited in 48 hours from February 17-19. All films were required to be between 1-5 minutes in length and include all of the following criteria: Theme: A Lost Love Prop: Character must set a CLOCK Line of Dialogue: "This could get complicated." Premiered at the Almost Famous Film Festival (A3F) Top 20 screening on March 1, 2012 at the AMC Arizona Center 24 Theaters. -4th place out of 66 films This is the director's cut, with nearly a minute of additional material not seen at the festival.

All Les wants is a Halloween party with his best friends and wife, but when one friend chooses thriftiness over quality, the party takes an unexpected turn. Entry in the Almost Famous Film Festival's 72 Hour Musical Film Competition - October 7-10, 2011 All films contained the following requirements: THEME: a broken promise PROP: a character must toss a coin LINE OF DIALOGUE: "Give me a second to think about it." Debuted at the A3F Top 10 screening on October 20, 2011 -5th place out of 31 teams
