How Do Prayer and Forgiveness Restore a Drifting Faith? | Mark 11:12-25 | Kevin Queen

Jan 12th, 2026 6:45 PM

When prayer fades, something else quietly takes its place. Over time, faith can drift, relationships can strain, and hearts can grow cluttered without us even noticing. In week 34 of our journey through the Gospel of Mark, Pastor Kevin Queen walks through Mark 11:12–25 and shows how Jesus confronts spiritual entropy; both in the temple and in our own lives. This passage reveals how prayer is not a religious accessory but the way God restores intimacy, renews purpose, and realigns what has slowly drifted out of order. As Jesus teaches His disciples, un-forgiveness affects every relationship we hold – including our relationship with God. A prayerless life eventually shows up in how we live, love, and trust. But the good news is that entropy is not the end of the story. Through prayer, trust, and forgiveness, Jesus brings renewal. Tune in, take notes, and reflect as we learn how Jesus interrupts entropy and invites us back into connection with the Father. – – – – – – – – – – – – For more info and resources on this series, visit crosspoint.tv/mark. Can We Find Hope When It Feels Darkest? | Luke 15:11-31 | Annie F. Downs

Dec 23rd, 2025 3:08 PM

On the winter solstice (the shortest day and longest night of the year) Scripture reminds us that darkness is never the end of the story. In this message, we look at the third story in Luke 15, often called The Parable of the Prodigal Son, and discover that it’s really a story about two lost sons and a Father who never stops welcoming His children home. Whether we relate more to the younger son or the older son, this message invites us to see where grace and truth meet. As we reflect on the darkest day of the year, we’re reminded of a powerful truth: light is coming on the horizon. Jesus shows us that no one is too far gone, no heart is too proud to need repentance, and no darkness is beyond the reach of His light. Today can be our turning point. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – If this message encouraged you, let us know in the comments. How Do We Find What Matters Most? | Luke 15:8–10 | Kevin Queen

Dec 15th, 2025 7:18 PM

We all know the frustration of losing something that truly matters; the anxiety, the searching, the relief when it’s finally found! But what happens when what’s missing isn’t a thing, but our attentiveness to Jesus? In this message from our Welcome Home series, Pastor Kevin looks at Luke 15:8–10 and reminds us of a powerful truth. Jesus relentlessly pursues what is lost (you and I) and He celebrates when it’s found. This passage reveals just how deeply we matter to Him; so much so that He gave His life to bring us back into relationship with God. As we reflect on Jesus’ pursuit of us, we’re invited to consider our own response. What does it look like to seek Him with intention, urgency, and trust? Tune in, take notes, and lean into the invitation to come home again. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – If this message encouraged us, let us know in the comments. How Do Find Home When We Feel Lost? | Luke 15:1–7 | Kevin Queen

Dec 10th, 2025 2:57 PM

We all know the feeling of being a little lost. Perhaps we feel pulled in a dozen directions, or maybe we’re unsure what the next right step is? The noise of life can make that longing even louder; especially during the Christmas season. In week one of our Welcome Home series, Pastor Kevin explores Luke 15:1–7, where Jesus tells the story of a shepherd who goes after one wandering sheep and celebrates when it’s brought safely home. This isn’t just a story – it’s our reality. We are the ones Jesus comes looking for. We are the ones He carries back to a place of belonging, peace, and restoration. As we prepare our hearts this Christmas, we’re invited to consider how we’re turning toward Jesus, how we’re letting Him guide us home, and how repentance opens us to the life He offers. Tune in, take notes, and let this message draw us deeper into the hope of the Gospel this season. – – – – – – – – – – – – If this message encouraged you, let us know in the comments.
