Just For Laughs Festival!

Arts Report brings you a very special Just For Laughs Comedy Festival episode! Vancouver's Just For Laughs Comedy Festival is happening from February 16th-25th at theatres all over the city. Ruby interviews comedians Becky Robinson performing at the Rio Theatre on February 19th, Gianmarco Soresci performing at the Biltmore Cabaret on February 16th, and Sasha Mark performing at China Cloud Studios on February 22nd and the Projection Room @ Fox Cabaret on February 23rd. As you'll hear, these comedians are so dynamic and hilarious you'll want to see them live!

IT’S FUNDRIVE this week on Arts Report! We are trying to raise $20,000 for a new radio transmitter. We love CiTR so much, any amount helps. In this episode Evan interviews the director of The Wolves. Lua reviews Artclub’s Forgiveness. She also reviews Studio 58’s A Chorus line and interview’s Diane Speirs, the production's Musical Director, and Terrence Zhou, who is played Mike. We wrap up with Kimara’s interview with Dave Merheje.

Arts Report comes to you on a Thursday morning for a special fill in featuring all PuSH Festival content! Zoie and Izzy interviewed the people behind the show Lotano+Istante. Hello 2023!

The first episode of 2023! Ruby interviewed Ingrid Hansen, who is one third of the comedy troupe The Merkin Sisters. The Merkin Sister’s new musical comedy album is out now! Lua interviewed Joshua Beamish of MOVETHECOMPANY whose dance show, Source Amnesia, premiered in Vancouver on January 13th. Then we wrap up with some exciting upcoming events happening in the city.
