Luke 12:48 teaches that greater responsibility comes with greater authority Proverbs 25:28 warns against lack of self-control Galatians 5:22-23 emphasizes self-control, patience, and gentleness James 1:19-20 cautions against anger-driven actions 3. Defense is about protecting life, not aggressionThe intent must always be preservation, not escalation. John 15:13 highlights sacrificial love for others Romans 12:18 calls for peace whenever possible Proverbs 4:23 emphasizes guarding the heart and motives Micah 6:8 calls for justice, mercy, and humility Matthew 26:52 warns against living by violence Core message:The Bible supports defending life, but it does not celebrate violence.
