In California, during the years 1970s , hitchhiking was the form of transportation for a lot of really young people. Girls as old as 12 were hitchhiking to get around. But with hitchhiking came the dangers of people who preyed on the trusting free-spirited children of America.  In Santa Rosa, during the years 1972 and 1973, a string of disappearances had the community in an uproar. The bodies of several teenagers and preteens were found nude, bound and dumped in isolated areas around Sanoma County. All the girls were dumped down embankments and the murders have never been solved. 

This was a highly requested case on TikTok, so I went down a rabbit hole. Most podcasts summarize the suspect and the murders. but I went into great detail about the crime scenes, the suspects and the theories so that maybe we can finally get someone to come forward to finally get this case solved. We are peons on the grand scale, but it's nice to hope that maybe just getting all of this information out there will help catch the killer... or at least find out who he is...
