Dedeaux Download: Hot Trojans head to Pac-12 Tournament playing best baseball of season

Shotgun Spratling and Jack Smith return on the Dedeaux Download Podcast to wrap up the regular season, breaking down USC baseball's sweep of Utah in the final weekend of the regular season to get above .500 for the first time this season while climbing to 17 Pac-12 Conference wins and the No. 4 seed in this week's Pac-12 Tournament.

The Trojans got outstanding pitching all three games, led by the continued excellence of ace Caden Aoki, who threw four scoreless innings as he continues to work his way back to full strength after missing more than a month with a shoulder injury.

Shotgun and Jack break down all the action from the weekend before previewing the Pac-12 Tournament, including chatting with USC head coach Andy Stankiewicz as he joins the show from a Scottsdale hotel room after the Trojans' six-hour bus ride.

Stankiewicz talks about what the return of Aoki as well as Bryce Martin-Grudzielanek has meant for USC as it moved some other players back into more comfortable roles. He also discusses how things change going into the tournament in desperation win-or-go-home mode this season and what it means for the program to climb up to a fourth-place finish in the Pac-12 for the second year in a row.
