Out of Character: Interview with Tuomas Pirinen and the Cost of a Pack of Cigs in New Antioch

In our inaugural episode of Out of Character, where we talk about various gaming-related topics, be they tabletop or videogame related, we hit the jackpot and GM John got a chance to pick the brain of legendary game designer from both fields, Tuomas Pirinen!  We talk about his life-long and storied history in tabletop and video game design, including his latest lead design position with the explosive miniature skirmish game Trench Crusade (created by Mike Franchina) and his philosophy of producing games accessible to people regardless as to the size of their wallets!  We also discuss the potential ramifications of things like tariffs on the games market, potential evolutions of Trench Crusade beyond a tabletop wargaming format, and much much more!  It was truly a rewarding interview with someone whose passion for gaming couldn't be more evident!
