The show opens with Joey's main takeaways from the game which include the Stars were the better team for the majority of the contest, but once again fall into a two nothing hole. Eventually, it will catch up to you and it did last night even though they out-chanced the Blues 31-11 in the game. The game was open and not as physical as expected so both sides had good looks offensively and one goalie was just a bit better. The 2nd segment praises the incredible PK for the Stars that once again killed off an entire 2 minute 5 on 3 and double minor consecutively to keep them in the game heading into the 3rd period. Jani Hakanpaa and Esa Lindell have been outstanding as almost an exclusive duo on the penalty kill and went 4-for-4 yesterday. The final segment dissects a power play that has gone bone dry, they are now 0-for-16 and have not scored in five straight games. Their entries have been the main point of interest for Joey who speculates they've struggled to find open ice and generate off the rush as of late. They are getting shots through which is a silver lining, but are having trouble being connected as a unit most nights.
