Cooke explained why this kind of rhetoric undermines any effort to seriously counter Trump's political dominance from the Democrats. Benson and Cooke also discussed new polling showing Trump slipping on economic approval nearly 100 days into his second term, and the Democrats' tendency to elevate deeply flawed figures as heroes of their movement.
