The NBA returned to action Wednesday after Election Day, and the league provided plenty of exciting basketball to get back to the NBA schedule. The New York City teams faced off in Barclay's Center with the Nets taking down the Knicks by 27 points and Kevin Durant pulling out a triple-double. The Clippers beat the Lakers to send LeBron James to 2-9 on the season, and both Ja Morant and Desmond Bane combined for 64 points to beat the San Antonio Spurs in overtime. The New Orleans Pelicans beat the Chicago Bulls behind Brandon Ingram's clutch scoring, and the Celtics knocked off the Pistons in Boston behind Jayson Tatum's big second half.
