Tweelingbroers Jan en Nico Haasbroek vieren op 17 december hun tachtigste verjaardag. Journalist Nico Haasbroek werkte bij de VARA en werd later hoofdredacteur bij het NOS Journaal. Jan Haasbroek is journalist en was omroepbestuurder. Hij is bekend van zijn werk bij de VPRO en latere functies bij Stad TV Rotterdam en de Humanistische Omroep.
