I first encountered Kindred when he was working with Wallace Global Fund and I was struck by his intellect, passion, and drive, and his deep commitment to change on many issues such as LGBTQI+ rights, which has been informed by his own experiences growing up gay in the Deep South.
Kindred is also passionate about mental health supports, immigration reform, democracy, participation, and amplifying citizen voices in general. He also has a lot to say on the topic of burnout and wellbeing, and how we can create healthier and more appealing workplace cultures.
