Many people have commented in ways both humorous and serious that perhaps the year 2020 is a bust, and we should just consign it to the dumpster of history and move on. Others have suggested that perhaps this time of unrest and confusion might be, if we embrace it, a catalyst for change on not only a cultural level, but also on a personal one. In light of their being made in the image of God, people of all faiths and none readily identify the broken parts of human living. For Christians, however Jesus alone is our sole means of repair. Are we willing to undergo the difficult heart work that is necessary to find ourselves truly changed, and to be the people that our world needs in this time of chaos.
