Today I’m with the inspiring Amy Liz Harrison. She is the author of Eternally Expecting: A Mom of Eight Gets Sober and Gives Birth to a New Life...Her Own and I couldn’t be more honored to have her by my side as we discuss her journey to sobriety, the mommy wine culture, and much more! 

Amy Liz Harrison is one of recovery’s original new voices. She’s a mother of eight who has been sober since 2011. Harrison grew up in the Evangelical Christianity Movement of the 1980s, became a teacher, married an airline executive after knowing him for five months, and transitioned to a stay-at-home mom. She turned to alcohol to deal with the horrible guilt that mothering alone wasn’t enough to fill her deep loneliness.
