Is Airbrushing Cheating?

Since the dawn of man, tools have made things easier. Cavemen painted on walls with their fingers until brushes came around, and now miniature painters are spreading their wings and using airbrushes and getting good results for certain applications at a fraction of the time. So, does this make it unfair? Does it make it cheating?
