Liverpool slumped to yet another Premier League defeat as they were beaten in disappointing fashion at Brentford on Saturday evening. Dango Outtara and Kevin Schade scored in the first half before Milos Kerkez pulled one back on the stroke of half-time only for Igor Thiago to add a contentious penalty after the break ahead of Mohamed Salah netting late on as the Reds tumbled to a 3-2 reverse.

The result means Arne Slot's side have now lost four successive top-flight games, Liverpool's worst such run since February 2021.
