On Monday, August 23rd, President Joe Biden announced that the FDA had officially approved the Pfizer Covid vaccine in what was the fastest approval time for a drug in U.S. history. Was this approval hurried so quickly because the actual research and science was done or was it done for political purposes? Did the FDA go through the thorough, painstaking process to place the Pfizer vaccine through the studies that it has done in the past for full approval? An article in the prestigious British Journal of Medicine believes that normative procedures were skipped and questions have gone unasked and unanswered in the blazingly fast process to approve the Pfizer vaccine, even bringing to light that the former FDA Chief under the Trump Administration, Scott Gottlieb, currently serves on Pfizer’s Board of Directors.
