Living in Tension - Jeff Mickey

Many of our relationships are filled with tension. We often disagree with our friends, spouses, parents, kids, others we work or attend church with, and complete strangers. While this has always been true, recent events and circumstances have magnified this tension for many of us. Oftentimes the tension is internal. As it spills out of us or others it creates conflict and increases tension in our lives and our relationships. Mature followers of Jesus learn to accept this tension and commit to following Jesus to build relationships that help individuals, families, churches, and communities to thrive. This series will look at several Bible passages from the New Testament that provide practical instructions to help us apply Jesus’ principles for living well in tension and building strong relationships that help us, our family members, friends, strangers, and churches thrive.
