The first known fetal abduction happened on November 13, 1974 when Winfred Ransom invited her new friend, eight month pregnant Margaret Sweeney, over to her West Philadelphia home to have lunch. Margaret went to Winifred’s expecting a nice lunch - she never expected that’d be the last place she’d ever go.
