In the very first episode of Redshirt Cinema Club, hosts Dave and Nath explain why it’s so baffling to them that Rob has never seen Star Trek and what they plan to do about it (spoilers: it’s to make a podcast about watching Star Trek). We quiz Rob to gauge his starting level of Trek knowledge, and then give him the chance to talk about his favourite non-Trek science fiction. Finally, we set the scene for our first movie - Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
