To understand the amazing love of the creator of the universe who also took on flesh and allowed his creation to kill Him, is not something that can just be understood intellectually.   It has to be revealed by Him.   We need Him living in us.  That was the plan and yet is largely ignored in christianity.   We desperately need His spirit in us!
