Along the way we tackle the film’s “one and done” filming strategy, we debate how the film’s unreality becomes a reality, the incredible performances given by George C. Scott, Brad Dourif, and the other supporting characters, we work through the high camp comedy combined with dedicated sincerity of the characters, and of course, we pick apart the film’s scariest shock sequence: Larry King ordering a sandwich. All this plus a high-spirited round of Choose Your Own Death-venture and yes, we talk about “the jump scare.” And Fabio.
