Looking For The Blessed Hope

Our text speaks of the appearing of Jesus Christ. God knows we need to know what the future holds and that is why there is so much about prophecy in the Bible. We need it and should never ignore it. Jesus’ any moment return for those who are His should be every believer’s longing and source of endless praise. When trials strike, the believer wishes Jesus would return. When they see wickedness in the world, or when persecuted, or when pinning away in prison for their faith, they long for Jesus’ return.
