While historically, aging and older adults have been portrayed as frail or incapable, and positive depictions of end-of-life care are almost non-existent, some recent series have challenged these outdated portrayals and given audiences a new perspective on growing older. Hollywood, Health & Society presents this a look at series that are thoughtfully opening up conversations about aging, the complexities of navigating caregiving, and preparing for end-of-life transitions with care and dignity.
