Antionette H. Jones is a writer driven by a sincere desire to connect with young people through storytelling. After more than a decade in education, she made the difficult decision to become a children’s author at the age of 49. It has changed her perspective.

Becoming an author at this stage in her life has opened Antionette’s mind to new possibilities and offered her the opportunity to inspire others. It is important to Antoinette to share life's possibilities with others - especially children. Drawing from her personal story and interactions, she wrote the book, “The Independents”.

As she'd hoped, the story has resonated deeply with its audience, offering connection, laughter, and thought-provoking insights into the human experience. Through her writings and life experiences, Antionette hopes to inspire and uplift young hearts, reminding them that they are never alone in their journey.

Her journey as a storyteller is one of resilience, transition, and unwavering dedication to the transformative power of literature.
