Dustin Heflin is a United States Marine.
He's also a husband, and the father to four children, two of which he raises with his second wife overseas. Dustin walks between two worlds I don't usually think of as going together: Being a Marine and being the parent who takes on more of what most would consider the traditional mother roles within his family.
Dustin talks a lot about his mom, who he credits with 90 percent of the man he's become, thanks to a ton of work, effort, time, and money. He says that his mom worked her ass off to make sure he was raised well, and he loves being able to do the same for his own children.
Dustin is also a fellow podcaster, who talks with fellow Marines, as well as about military life in general, on his podcast Jarhead. Which you should for sure check out. If for no other reason than the fact that it has the best tagline ever: Eating Crayons Since 1977. You can't not listen now. I know. You're welcome.
You can catch another 30 minutes of tape with Dustin at pareton.com/twomomsdaydrinking with a monthly pledge of as little as $1 a month.
