What's up, Plant People? It's your host, Vikram Baliga, back again with Episode 7! Listen, do you like water? Of course you do! Katherine is the Education and Outreach Coordinator with the High Plains Underground Water Conservation District on the Southern High Plains of Texas. I sat down with Katherine to talk about everything from her love of gardening to how different types of aquifers store and supply water to so much of North America. She's fun, personable, smart, and an excellent science communicator with experience in traditional news media, horticulture, water conservation, and so many other things. Katherine and I have been friends for years and I think you're really going to learn a lot and have a bunch of fun listening to this episode!
