I recently joined Frodi Midjord from Guide To Kultur for a lengthy discussion on the unfolding geopolitical crisis sweeping the world. It just so happens I have been reading Halford Mackinder’s ‘‘Heartland Theory’’ which posits that the nation controlling the Eurasian landmass will come to dominate the world and how that intersects with Atlantic sea power.
