Going Deeper in Conflict Resolution

"I'm sorry honey I know I was wrong and I hurt you." To many of us, this is the great finish line of healthy conflict resolution. But the truth is, this is just the beginning. Healthy conflict resolution needs to go deeper than just slapping a bandaid "I'm sorry" on it. It has to seek to understand the other, and the desires and expectations that came into collision to cause the conflict to begin with.
