Susie Crick is the National Chairperson of Surfrider Australia, Rise Above Plastics Campaign Director and South Coast Branch President. Susie will be a crew member of 2020 Exxpedition, an all-female research expedition to investigate the causes of and solutions to ocean plastic pollution.

She's also an international Flight Attendant, Director of a Preschool that she built for her children 22 years ago. Susie sits on three ‘not for profit’ environmental boards and spends her spare time organising beach cleans, campaigning for the ocean, and organising events that involve educating the community about keeping our oceans clean and preserving marine ecosystems.

We talk about Australia's bushfires, cleaning our oceans and how to stay motivated in helping others understand the importance of conservation.
