The Need for Texas to Ignore the Court and Finally Slay Judicial Supremacism | 1/23/24

In light of the court’s ruling to greenlight Biden’s border invasion, Texas not only has an opportunity to stand against the invasion but to undermine the entire premise of judicial supremacism. In this fact-filled show, I explain the true design of the federal judiciary and how the founders envisioned constitutional decompartmentalism, not judicial supremacism. First, I go through a bunch of recent cases showing how Trump’s three appointees are screwing us on critical issues and do not measure up to Thomas and Alito – yet another example of how we have gone backward under Trump. Next, I explain how the understanding that we don’t have a conservative court should finally push our side to reject judicial supremacism altogether. Each branch of the state and federal government has its own responsibility to follow the Constitution as it understands it. Unless we return to this model, red states will be forced to act like blue states by the federal judiciary. Now is the greatest inflection moment we’ve had for quite some time to finally slay the beast.
