New Show #352- April From Single Mom to Accounting

I love meeting new people willing to share their “lemon to lemonade” experience!

This story is about April who found herself as a divorced single mom with a 3 month old baby girl. Her boss gave her the funds to go back and do her first semester of college! She graduated in accounting. During this time she was able to build a home with Habitat for Humanity. She got a job at an accounting firm. Also, she found out around age 3, that her daughter is autistic. April has now helped others get homes, and also assists to find financing for college. What message do you get from this interview?

ABOUT the LemonAid Stand: Heidi started hosting the LemonAid Stand live radio talk show, over 20 years ago, in 1999! It all came about when Heidi was dealing with thoughts of suicide, inadequacy, and dealing with infertility. She realized as she reached out to others and heard their stories, she would be uplifted and inspired no matter what she was going through.
