I had the tremendous honor of having former attorney and judge Mary Beth on the show as a special guest.

Her strength and perseverance over life's challenges and barrier's is second to none as we begin learning about Mary Beths struggles and tribulations through physical, sexual, and emotional abuse that led to substance abuse and addiction.

Throughout this episode Mary Beth begins to talk about her life of drug addiction growing up in New Jersey.

Mary Beth also talks about certain parts of her book From Junkie to Judge: One Woman's Triumph Over Trauma and Addiction, where she describes the child abuse that led to teenage meth addiction, the chaos of that addiction, and building a recovery plan that worked for her.
