The Detroit Pistons had their new roster, minus Quentin Grimes, for the first time in their loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. They did lose the game, however, they played what might have been their most complete game of the season. Detroit had a 13-point lead at one point, led in the fourth, and competed in every facet of the game. The impact of their new players was felt immediately.
