Marchessault’s market value lower than expected?

The Daily Faceoff released salary projections for the top 75 NHL free agents. Jonathan Marchessault, the soon-to-be VGK free agent was ranked 6th on the list. What was surprising to us, was that analytical projection of $6.25-million over a three year term. We thought he would command somewhere between $7-8 million. We also look at other VGK free agents and their salary projections. And we look at other free agents on the list and who would fit in with the Golden Knights.
