I’m Comfortable Talking To My Kids About Sex, But My Co-Parent Isn’t. Help!

This question comes from a dad whose son has started to ask him questions about sex. Whilst he's comfortable talking openly, his sons mother isn't. So is this a part of a bigger issue & how can he talk to her about this so that his son gets both perspectives?
