Bṛhad-bhāgavatāmṛta Part 2 Chapter 2 Text 56
śrī-gopa-kumāra uvāca
tac chrutvācintayaṁ brahman
vaiśyatve syāt sukhaṁ mahat
prabhor eṣāṁ ca viprāṇāṁ
tad-bhaktānām upāsanāt
TRANSLATION
Śrī Gopa-kumāra said: Hearing this, O brāhmaṇa, I thought I would be much happier staying a vaiśya, for then I could keep worshiping both the Supreme Lord and those brāhmaṇas, His devotees.
