In 1957, a shy woman meets the man of her dreams: Burt Pugach, a successful lawyer in the East Bronx. Unfortunately, her dreams are crushed, when Burt confesses that he’s actually a married man. Linda tries to end the relationship, but Burt decides that if he can’t have her, then no one else can.
