This chapter brings us face-to-face with the impossible call of God—a life that cannot be lived by natural strength but only by total dependence on Him. From the beginning, God never intended man to live apart from Him. Adam stood at the crossroads between self-reliance and life union with God. That choice remains for us today. The tree of life symbolizes participation in God’s divine, giving nature. The tree of knowledge represents grasping, independence, and the soul-driven life. When Adam chose the latter, humanity began to live by the soul rather than the spirit. But redemption restores us to God’s original order—where the soul submits and expresses the Spirit within. God calls us not to strive or produce, but to exchange strength and live the Him-possible life. Only by learning to appropriate and participate can we mature into true sons who live from Him and unto Him. Here we go! Thanks for Listening!
