From Rent to Wicked to Frozen: how Idina Menzel pulled off a pop culture hat trick

On this week’s episode, musical theatre icon Idina Menzel reflects on being part of not one, or two, but three era-defining cultural phenomenons: hit Broadway musicals Rent and Wicked, and blockbuster animated film Frozen. She also talks about why landing her role in Glee “wasn’t great for the ego”, and reveals what prompted her new incarnation as a disco diva.
